Do you hire to the general public?

Not at this stage. AV-Hire only hires to audio visual professionals, AV rental companies and technical event producers.

Do you provide set and packdown labour?

AV-Hire is a cross hire rental business only. we do not set up or operate the equipment and we only hire equipment to the professionals who do.

How do I place an order with AV-Hire?

To place a rental order, select your desired rental period by choosing your required pickup and return dates and times.

  1. Browse through our available inventory for those dates.
  2. Once you’ve found the equipment you need, select the desired equipment and quantities.
  3. Proceed to the checkout page, to complete your order.

Can I add a purchase order number to my order?

Yes you can, at the checkout stage. But once the order is confirmed, you can not go back and edit it through the online store. We can add PO numbers and make changes through the backend, contact AV-Hire to add a PO number to an existing order.

Can I create an account with AV-Hire?

Yes you can, at the checkout, if you have an account already, you are can log in with your email and password, and if you don’t already have an account, follow the prompts at the checkout to create one.

As in industry professional, how do I get an industry discount with AV-Hire?

On a case by case basis, we will assess your account and and where appropriate, we will apply an industry discount to your account profile. When you login at the checkout, your discount will be applied to your orders.

Is my discount reflected in the prices I see on the online store?

Im afraid not, your discount is applied at the checkout stage. All the prices you see on each piece of equipment is the retail price including GST.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is typically 24 hours.

Do you charge for pick up and return days?

Typically no, usually a pick up on a Monday after 9.00am and a return on a Wednesday before 5.00pm will be a 1 Day hire.

How do you charge for weekly and monthly hire?

Essentially we charge 4 days hire for a week, and 10 days hire for a full month.

Can I extend hire or change my booking through the website?

Please contact us at AV-Hire to make any changes to an existing booking such as change of dates and times, adding gear and cancelling bookings.

Can I trust the availability I see on the website?

Absolutely YES you can, if items are marked green for being available on your chosen dates and times, then yes 100% they are available. Equally if the item your require are marked as unavailable, we are happy to discuss options, its possible there are substitutions and or we can look at other options.

Do you offer delivery and collection service?

Yes we do, assuming we can deliver and collect at a time that suits us, there is no charge. But we do charge for deliveries and collections at specific times and outside of business hours.

What if the equipment fails, malfunctions or is damaged by us?

In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction or damage, please contact our customer support immediately. We’ll guide you through troubleshooting steps or arrange for a replacement if necessary. Please refer to our rental agreement for more details regarding liability and insurance coverage.
